The Apostle Islands is a premier destination for sea kayakers from around the world for a reason; Lake Superior is truly an 'Inland Sea', with paddling opportunities from calm bays to rowdy open water.
Learning Adventures
Symposiums are a fantastic way to get inspired and tune your skills while having fun. Novice to expert, it doesn't matter, we'll be growing together.

Community Connections
The symposium is designed to connect paddlers to communities. Look forward to social paddles, group meals, and local partnerships. Our base is the small village of Cornucopia but our venue is the entire Apostle Islands area!
Paying It Forward
Attendees help us directly give back to the community; from youth leadership mentoring, helping people access the outdoors, and raising funds to help local environmental causes.
During 2023 our participants raised $1500 for the Friends of the Apostle Islands. For 2024 our donation partner is Mt Ashwabay Outdoor Education Foundation.
